So, Channel 4 News came along to our event with Irvine in the person of the irrepressible Matthew Cain - check out what he said about us on his C4 Blog. He concludes: 'So, I’m not sure whether live performance events like Book Slam will be enough to solve all the problems in publishing.' Matthew, we love you, but you're very wrong: we will solve all the problems in publishing. Absolutely all of them. Even the lousy coffee. And the predominance of women called Annabelle. And the guys with inexcusable facial hair ...
