The Tabernacle

Back from our holidays after medalling in the small bore, we double sculled with our good friends at Penguin and presented quite possibly the finest Book Slam then seen this side of the summer games. ZADIE SMITH read from the brilliant 'NW' in a variety of argots, her brother (and our dear friend) DOC BROWN told stories of growing up on the streets of Nort' Weezy and BEN MASTERS, author of 'Noughties', introduced us to a cracking short story. Music came from that prodigious pair of polymaths PIERS FACCINI and ROGER ROBINSON. All told, it was nothing if not quite something ...
