Book Slam @ The Brighton Festival
We ventured to the South Coast for the first time to join the wonderful Brighton Festival and mark the publication of 'One For The Trouble' with a truly sparkling line-up of Book Slam alumni - JON MCGREGOR, our old pal and the author of the stellar 'This Isn't The Sort Of Thing That Happens To Someone Like You'; JACKIE KAY, reading from her own collection of short stories, 'Reality Reality'; SAPPHIRE, author of the incomparable Push' (a.k.a. 'Precious') and, now, 'The Kid'; plus music from spellbindingly gifted local girl ANDREYA TRIANA, and the usual tomfoolery from the tomfool herself, FRANCESCA BEARD.
