Book Slam

The Grand

Book Slam put the 'OK-ish' into blokish and the 'ex' into sex as we featured some of our fair city's finest and funniest writers. JESSE ARMSTRONG, co-creator of 'Peep Show' and 'Fresh Meat', read from his first novel, the horribly comic 'Love, Sex And Other Foreign Policy Goals', while WILL HODGKINSON, rock and pop critic for The Times, rewound to his frankly terrifying adolescence in his memoir, 'This House Is Full Of Yogis'. Music came from the exceptional new voice of STEVIERAY LATHAM, poetry from the diverse talents of our new friend, LISA LUXX, and our old, old friend LUKE WRIGHT
