Dan Rhodes is a very clever and funny writer and, undoubtedly, a 'good thing'. Selected as one of Granta's last list of Best Young British Novelists, in 2010 he won the E.M. Forster Award. He is the author of eight books; his latest, the collection of stories, 'Marry Me'.
