Jackie Kay read from her memoir, 'Red Dust Road' at Book Slam @ The Grand in January 2011. She was lovely and, considering the tricky subject matter, very funny indeed. We love Jackie. She came to the south coast with us for the brilliant Brighton Festival and she wrote an exquisite story, 'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye', for 'Too Much Too Young: Book Slam Vol. II'.
