Xiaolu Guo is a novelist and filmmaker whose extraordinary work explores the personal and political of China's past and present. She was last at Book Slam in July 2007 to read from her Orange Prize-shortlisted novel, 'A Concise Chinese-English Dictionary For Lovers'.
